We took the plunge, and we’ll keep going!

Our morning started with a COLD wake up call! After two straight days of nice weather, temperatures plummeted to 30 degrees just in time for the grand event. We donned our minion costumes and marched our way into the icy waters of Virginia Beach. Care-A-Lot Pet Supply has always supported the Virginia Special Olympics and Polar Plunge with their mission providing athletes with intellectual disabilities opportunities to compete as well as community inclusion efforts.

The good news is that we reach our initial goal! The GREAT news is that we are going beyond the finish line and will continue to be raising money until the end of February 2022. We are partnering with Canidae who will match donations up to $5,000, so your donation can make a bigger impact. We love to give a big thank you to those who donated through our direct page or by purchasing a paw from your local Care-A-Lot location. A big shout to Canidae, the Polar Plunge organizers, and our Dipping Dog teammates for making this all possible.
