Summary/Objective
The Floor Supervisor is responsible for establishing and maintaining guest services. Additionally, assists in unloading delivery trucks and compares received products to packing lists to ensure that deliveries are complete. Assists the Receiving Clerk in tracking deliveries and troubleshooting order issues with the Company warehouse.

- Ensures that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and by maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest services.
- Implements and maintains guest service standards.
- Maintains all merchandising standards, display presentations and signing standards and monitors inventory levels.
- Ensures proper completion through follow-up. Assists in monitoring sales performance through the analysis of sales reports and comparison shopping.
- Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintains standard of warehouse condition and rotation and presentation of product.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Receives products from vendor deliveries and unloads trucks at the loading docks.
- Compares packing lists to company purchase orders and ensures that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
- Collaborates with our marketing department to develop a schedule for assembling and displaying manufacturer marketing pieces on the sales floor.
- Updates the product inventory as products are received and added to our inventory.
- Packages products for return to vendors and fills out any RMA paperwork necessary prior to the shipment being picked up.
- Maintains standard of warehouse condition and rotation and presentation of product.
- Adheres to all safety procedures according to company and OSHA standards.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises the Receiving Department and is responsible for leadership of the employees within its department.
Work Environment
This job operates in a retail environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the employee to infrequently lift at least 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. May require working over 45 hours a week at times. Shifts vary and will require working days, nights, some weekends and occasional holidays.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Education and Experience
Some experience in the customer service industry.
