Demo Representive

Summary/Objective

Represent our brand by engaging with customers and showcasing our products to enhance their shopping experience. Provide valuable insights and information that drive sales and elevate customer interactions. Additionally, train and empower our team to effectively sell our products and deliver outstanding customer service.

Essential Functions

  1. Brand Representation: Serve as the face of our brand, embodying our values and mission while interacting with customers and representing our products in a positive and authentic manner.
  2. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our pet products, including food, toys, accessories, and grooming supplies, and effectively communicate their features, benefits, and usage to customers.
  3. Product Demonstrations: Conduct live demonstrations of products to educate customers about their usage and benefits, enhancing their understanding and encouraging sales.
  4. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to assess their needs, answer questions, and provide personalized product recommendations based on their pets’ requirements and preferences.
  5. Training and Development: Train and educate fellow team members on product features, benefits, and selling techniques to improve their product knowledge and sales skills.
  6. Upselling and Cross-Selling: Utilize your product expertise to upsell and cross-sell complementary items, maximizing opportunities and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  7. Feedback and Insights: Gather feedback from customers and team members regarding product preferences, trends, and customer needs, and provide insights to management to inform product selection and marketing strategies.
  8. Visual Merchandising: Assist Store Managers with visual merchandising efforts, ensuring product displays are visually appealing, well-organized, and effectively highlight key products and promotions.

This job operates in a fast-paced retail environment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, bend, stoop and sit. This job requires the employee to lift at least 40 pounds frequently.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position. Shifts vary and will require working afternoons, evenings, some weekends and holidays.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Education and Experience

1-3 years of sales experience preferred.
