The Aquatics Sales Associate is responsible for all livestock care & husbandry, customer service, department cleanliness and upkeep, product knowledge, basic water chemistry, live and dry product sales.

The position operates in a retail business environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as: computers, telephones, photocopier, fax machines, and filing cabinets. Non-office equipment: Hydrometer & Refractometer
Delivery days are generally on Tuesdays of each month. Livestock orders arrive through Southwest Airlines; due to airline travels and time, associate’s work schedule may vary.
The Aquatics Sales Associate is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and lifting all day. The employee must frequently lift/ move items more than 50 pounds. Employee must be comfortable around water, with the possibility of getting wet. Specific vision abilities required by this job is: color vision, dept perception, close and long distance.
This is a full-time or part time position. Days and hours may vary by schedule. Evening and weekend work are required as schedule demands. Air flights may require adjusted schedule.
Previous retail aquatic livestock keeping (preferred, not required). Basic hobby understanding and keeping of fish.
High school diploma or G.E.D
